A Pause from Doomscrolling
Keeping my hands busy so my brain can take a break
Dear Friends,
I will admit that I doom scrolled a lot more than I should have this week.
But when I remembered to let go of my phone, I was able to grab hold of some joyful glimmers instead:
Baking a batch of snickerdoodles
Tearing into a shipment of the first sticker sheet I illustrated
Cracking open a fortune cookie that promises me a long awaited wish come true
Picking out Daisy mandarins from the farmer’s market bin
Reaching for the book on my nightstand before bed time
I’m sure this weekend I’ll fall down some online rabbit hole again, but I’ll log off too and enjoy the outside world too. It’s all about balance, right?
xo Christine

Yum! Snickerdoodles. Thanks for always saying the things I need to hear. ❤️
Following your lead. (And grateful that so many of your good things are my good things too.)
